About BFA
British Football Academy Singapore was founded in 2018 and built around one belief: players are children first, football players second.
What started as a small coaching operation has grown into one of Singapore's leading youth football academies, serving hundreds of players from ages 3 to 18 across multiple venues island-wide. Our programmes are designed and delivered by UEFA, FA, and AFC qualified coaches who bring professional academy standards to every session.
Our Story
How We Started
BFA was founded in 2018 by Jason, who had a vision for a different kind of football academy in Singapore — one where children come before results, and development is measured in character as much as technical ability. He brought in Dave as a coach, whose extensive UK academy experience would set the standard from day one.
Dave brought over 15 years of academy experience from the UK, including roles at Premier League clubs and FC Halifax Town, where he was part of the team that lifted the FA Trophy at Wembley. Together they built BFA from the ground up, growing from a handful of players to a thriving academy that now develops hundreds of young footballers across Singapore.
Today, BFA offers a complete player pathway — from Mini Football for 3-year-olds through to global university and professional academy placements for our most ambitious players. Every step of that journey is guided by the same belief we started with: the child always comes first.
